Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Functional Consultant

Role SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Functional Consultant with a strong knowledge of financial business processes and hands-on implementation experience.The consultant will be responsible for working with Onsite stakeholders to understand financial requirements, design Oracle Cloud solutions, configure relevant Financials modules, support integrations and data migration, conduct testing, provide user training, and support deployment and post-go-live activities.The candidate must have participated in at least one full implementation lifecycle, starting from requirement gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.Required Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials ModulesThe candidate should have strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience in the following core modules:General Ledger – GLAccounts Payable – APCash Management – CMFixed Assets – FAExpenses – Oracle ExpensesSubledger Accounting – SLAExperience in the following areas will be an added advantage:Accounts Receivable – ARRevenue ManagementLease AccountingIntercompany AccountingTax – Oracle Fusion TaxCollectionsAdvanced Collections Mandatory Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials, including significant hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.At least one end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.Strong functional knowledge of accounting and finance business processes.Hands-on configuration experience in at least four or more core Financials modules.Strong understanding of the integration between General Ledger and financial subledgers.Experience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live support.Ability to prepare clear functional documentation and functional specifications.Experience working with technical, integration, reporting, security, and data-migration teams.Strong knowledge of financial period-close, reconciliation, and reporting processes.Good stakeholder-management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to independently conduct workshops and interact with senior finance stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification is desirable.Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification is preferred.Experience in multi-country, multi-ledger, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP implementations is an advantage.Exposure to statutory, localization, taxation, and regulatory requirements is desirable.Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and regression testing will be beneficial.Experience in production support, enhancements, and rollout projects is preferred.Desired CompetenciesStrong understanding of finance and accounting principles.Ability to convert business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.Effective coordination with business, technical, and project-management stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.Strong ownership of assigned modules and deliverables.
