Oracle Fusion ERP Functional SpecialistAbout The Role The Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Specialist serves as the functional owner of OHANA's Oracle Fusion Cloud platform, acting as the primary liaison between business departments, ICT, and the Oracle implementation partner.This role is responsible for ensuring Oracle Fusion is configured, tested, governed, and adopted in line with OHANA's business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management (HCM), Project Controls, Construction, and Development.The position focuses on functional ownership rather than technical configuration, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective Oracle solutions while maintaining governance, process integrity, and long-term platform sustainability.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Functional OwnershipAct as the functional representative between business stakeholders, ICT, and the Oracle implementation partner.Facilitate discovery workshops, process design sessions, and solution reviews across all business functions.Gather, document, and validate business requirements, process flows, approval workflows, and functional specifications.Perform fit-gap analysis and ensure business requirements are addressed through configuration, process improvements, reporting, integrations, or approved change requests.Maintain end-to-end traceability of business requirements through configuration, testing, and deployment.Functional Governance & ConfigurationReview and validate Oracle Fusion configuration across Financials, Procurement, SCM, HCM, and Project Management modules.Ensure enterprise structures, approval hierarchies, organizational data, and master data support OHANA's operating model.Maintain configuration documentation, decision logs, and change records.Ensure all configuration changes follow governance, testing, and approval procedures.Business Process SupportPartner with business teams to support functional processes across:Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses, VAT, Financial Reporting)Human Capital Management (Core HR, employee lifecycle, payroll inputs, leave, attendance, self-service)Procurement & Supply Chain (Supplier Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Contracts, Procure-to-Pay)Project Controls, Construction, and Development (Projects, Budgets, Commitments, Cost Management, Change Orders)Work with business owners to validate process improvements while ensuring seamless integration between Oracle Fusion, Primavera P6, Primavera Unifier, and other enterprise systems.Security & Access GovernanceCoordinate with ICT and Cybersecurity to review user roles, security profiles, approval hierarchies, and segregation of duties.Support user provisioning, role changes, and periodic access reviews.Ensure security changes comply with governance and audit requirements.Testing & Go-Live SupportCoordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation activities.Develop test scenarios and manage defect tracking with business users and implementation partners.Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.Monitor risks and escalate issues impacting project delivery.Reporting & Business IntelligenceGather reporting requirements for Finance, HR, Procurement, and Project teams.Validate functional requirements for OTBI, BI Publisher, dashboards, and management reports.Support testing and reconciliation of reports to ensure data accuracy.User Support & Continuous ImprovementProvide Level 2 functional support for Oracle Fusion users.Maintain SOPs, user guides, FAQs, and training materials.Deliver functional training and support super-user development across business departments.Assess Oracle quarterly releases and coordinate regression testing.Identify opportunities to improve business processes, automation, and user adoption.Required Experience5–8 years of ERP functional experience.Minimum 3 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience.Experience supporting at least one full Oracle Fusion implementation or major transformation programme.Strong experience in at least two Oracle Fusion functional areas, preferably:FinancialsProcurement & SCMHCMExperience working with implementation partners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.Experience supporting multi-entity organizations with approval workflows, cost centres, projects, and shared services.Experience within real estate development, construction, engineering, project controls, or infrastructure industries is highly preferred.Required SkillsStrong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP business processes and Functional Setup Manager.Knowledge of Financials, Procurement, SCM, HCM, workflow approvals, security roles, and cross-module integration.Ability to interpret functional design documents, process maps, configuration workbooks, and testing documentation.Understanding of Oracle reporting tools including OTBI and BI Publisher.Familiarity with segregation of duties (SoD), access governance, and ERP controls.Excellent stakeholder management, business analysis, documentation, and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate business needs into practical ERP solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Oracle Fusion Cloud certification in Financials, Procurement, SCM, or HCM is highly preferred.Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Process Essentials or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations certification is an advantage.ITIL Foundation, PMP, or PRINCE2 certifications are desirable.
