Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Support Consultant with strong techno-functional capability across Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management and Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC). The consultant will provide day-to-day production support, resolve functional and integration issues, deliver controlled enhancements, and ensure stable operation of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. The role requires close collaboration with HR, Payroll, IT, implementation partners and Oracle Support.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Support & Service DeliveryProvide L1/L2 techno-functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM and manage incidents, service requests, problems and change requests through closure.Investigate and resolve configuration, transaction, data, security, workflow, reporting and integration issues within agreed service levels.Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues, document corrective actions and implement preventive controls.Coordinate with Oracle Support and external partners for product defects, service requests, patches and complex technical issues.Maintain support documentation, known-error records, configuration workbooks, solution notes and user guides.Provide user assistance and targeted training to HR, Payroll, Recruitment and business users.Functional Module SupportCore HR: enterprise structures, workforce structures, person and employment records, assignments, transfers, promotions, terminations, approvals and responsive pages.Absence Management: absence plans, types, eligibility, accruals, carry-forward rules, validations, approvals and payroll impact.Payroll: payroll setup and support, elements, balances, costing, calculation cards, Fast Formula, payroll flow monitoring, pre-payments, payment processes, reconciliation and statutory issue resolution.Talent Management: goals, performance management, talent review, succession and related employee/manager processes.Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC): requisitions, candidate lifecycle, career sites, offers, approvals, notifications and onboarding hand-offs.Support related HCM areas such as Journeys, Compensation and Benefits when required.Integrations, Reporting & DataMonitor, troubleshoot and enhance integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and internal or third-party systems.Develop and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, SOAP web services, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, BI Publisher, OTBI, SFTP and file-based interfaces.Analyze integration failures, data mismatches, scheduling issues and interface dependencies; coordinate timely reprocessing and correction.Create and maintain operational reports, extracts, dashboards and audit outputs required by HR and Payroll.Execute controlled data loads, mass updates, reconciliation and validation while maintaining data quality and auditability.Enhancements, Releases & ControlsGather and analyze business requirements; prepare functional designs, technical specifications, impact assessments and test scenarios.Configure and deliver minor enhancements, workflow changes, notifications, formulas, reports and integrations through the approved change process.Plan and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment and post-production validation.Assess Oracle quarterly cloud updates, identify impact, coordinate regression testing and recommend relevant new features.Support role provisioning, data roles and HCM security troubleshooting in coordination with the security team.Ensure adherence to change management, access control, data privacy, segregation of duties and audit requirements.Required Skills & Experience6-10 years of Oracle HCM experience, including at least 4 years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM support or implementation experience.Demonstrated functional expertise in Core HR, Absence Management and Payroll, with working knowledge of Talent Management and ORC.Strong hands-on experience in production support, troubleshooting, configuration, testing and post-go-live stabilization.Practical integration experience with OIC, REST/SOAP services, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL, SFTP and file-based interfaces.Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, Fast Formula, payroll flows, security roles and approval workflows.Ability to analyze issues end to end across business process, configuration, data, security, reports and integrations.Experience managing Oracle Support service requests and working with implementation or managed-service partners.Clear communication, documentation and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple support requests.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.Oracle Fusion HCM certification in one or more relevant modules is preferred.Experience supporting multi-country HCM and Payroll environments is an advantage.Exposure to Oracle AI Agent Studio or HR process automation is desirable, but not mandatory.Preferred Candidate ProfileSupport-oriented consultant who is responsive, structured and accountable for issues through closure.Comfortable working across functional and technical teams and translating business concerns into practical solutions.Strong attention to payroll accuracy, employee data integrity, controls and operational continuity.Willing to provide critical support during payroll cycles, production releases and business-critical periods when required.
