Oracle PPM ConsultantQualificationsEssential Experience Minimum 8 years’ experience in Oracle ERP environments, with deep functional experience in Oracle Fusion PPM, Project Accounting, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, or equivalent project finance domainsHands-on experience designing or leading Oracle Fusion PPM / Project Accounting implementations in a product ownership, functional lead, solution lead, or senior business analyst capacityStrong understanding of project lifecycle processes, including project creation, budgeting, funding, cost capture, capitalization, billing, revenue recognition, project close and reportingProven experience translating business process requirements into Oracle Fusion configuration specifications, functional designs, integration specifications and testable acceptance criteriaExperience working with upstream and downstream application integrations, particularly Salesforce, contract lifecycle management platforms such as Icertis, and Oracle FinancialsExperience working in large-scale, multi-entity or multi-country ERP programmes with complex project accounting, revenue and reporting requirementsStrong experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps, testing, defect resolution, cutover readiness and post-go-live stabilization in complex environmentsDesirable ExperienceExperience migrating from Oracle E-Business Suite Projects or Project Accounting to Oracle Fusion PPMExposure to Salesforce opportunity-to-project integration patterns and customer / commercial data flowsExposure to Icertis or equivalent contract lifecycle management integration with Oracle Fusion project, billing or revenue processesExperience with Oracle OTBI, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Power BI or enterprise reporting using project financial dataExperience working alongside a Big Four or Tier 1 SI as a client-side counterpartExperience driving post-go-live optimization, automation, control improvement and continuous product evolution for project finance processesSkills and AttributesStrong analytical and problem-solving capability across process, system and data dimensions; able to assess Oracle standard functionality against bespoke business requirements and advise on trade-offsStructured and precise communication; able to produce clear written outputs (specs, meeting notes, status updates) without requiring editorial supportCommercially aware; understands the implications of configuration and scope decisions on programme cost and timelineConstructively challenging; capable of holding the TP to account without damaging working relationshipsHigh degree of ownership and follow-through; operates with minimal supervisionStrong system thinking with ability to visualize end-to-end data and process flows across applicationsAbility to balance innovation (AI/automation) with control, compliance, and maintainability
