Oral Surgeon and Dental Implant Specialist

Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in the Riyadh Region and focuses on providing advanced oral surgery and dental implant treatments to patients. The Oral Surgeon and Dental Implant Specialist will perform surgical procedures including extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and other complex oral and maxillofacial interventions. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and explaining procedures, risks, and post-operative care to patients in a clear and reassuring manner. The specialist will collaborate with general dentists and other dental professionals to coordinate care, review diagnostic imaging, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based treatment outcomes. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, adhering strictly to infection control and safety protocols, participating in case reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical standards within the clinic.Qualifications Advanced clinical expertise in oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implantology, bone grafting, and complex extractions.Proficiency in treatment planning using diagnostic imaging (e.g., panoramic X-rays, CBCT) and digital tools for implant placement.Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical findings and treatment options in accessible, respectful language.Demonstrated commitment to infection control, patient safety, and adherence to relevant clinical and regulatory standards.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team and to provide clinical leadership when needed.Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or equivalent recognized dental degree.Specialization and formal training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Implantology; board certification or equivalent is preferred.Valid license to practice dentistry and oral surgery in the relevant jurisdiction; eligibility for Saudi licensing is required.Experience working in a busy clinical setting, with strong organizational and time-management skills.Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
