BOSEA aims to offer a modern, reliable environment where advanced specialty dentistry is paired with comfort and professionalism.Role Description This full-time Oral Surgeon role is an on-site position based in Boston, MA. The Oral Surgeon will perform surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, dental implant placement, bone grafting, and management of complex oral and maxillofacial conditions. Daily responsibilities include conducting comprehensive patient consultations, developing treatment plans, performing sedation and anesthesia as appropriate, and collaborating closely with endodontic specialists and referring dentists. The role also involves overseeing post-operative care, ensuring accurate clinical documentation, and maintaining high standards of safety, infection control, and patient communication. The Oral Surgeon will contribute to a team-based environment focused on coordinated specialty care and a seamless patient experience.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in oral surgery, including surgical extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and management of complex oral conditions.Foundational knowledge and training in medicine and dentistry to support comprehensive diagnosis, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary care.Proficiency in anesthesiology, including local anesthesia and sedation techniques, with a commitment to patient safety and comfort.Experience with dental implants and related procedures such as bone grafting and site preparation.DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school and completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.Active Massachusetts dental license (or eligibility) and appropriate anesthesia permits.Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a patient-centered approach to care.Commitment to continuing education, evidence-based practice, and use of advanced technology in clinical care.
