The practice strives to maintain a supportive workplace culture that values integrity, teamwork, and high-quality outcomes.Role Description The Oral Surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical care, including extractions, bone grafting, dental implant placement, and management of oral and maxillofacial pathology. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, interpreting diagnostic imaging, developing treatment plans, and performing in-office surgical procedures with appropriate anesthesia and pain management. The Oral Surgeon will collaborate closely with referring providers, maintain detailed clinical documentation, and ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. The role also involves patient education, postoperative care, and participation in practice growth initiatives such as community outreach and professional networking. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ocala, FL.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Oral Surgery and Dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of routine and complex procedures.Candidates should possess skills in Anesthesiology and Medicine relevant to office-based sedation, medical assessment, and safe perioperative management.Candidates should possess proven experience with Dental Implants, including treatment planning, placement, and restorative coordination with referring providers.Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.Active state dental license (or eligibility for licensure in Florida), board certification or board eligibility in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and appropriate anesthesia permits.Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with clinical and administrative staff.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical practice, maintain meticulous records, and use digital imaging and practice management systems.Willingness to participate in continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and community or professional outreach to support practice growth.
