All employees are eligible for benefits from their hire date, including health insurance, PTO, a 401(k) with match, FSAs, and vision and dental discounts.Role Description The Oral Surgeon will provide surgical dental care to patients, including extractions, bone grafts, dental implants, and other oral and maxillofacial procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, performing surgeries, and collaborating with general dentists and dental specialists to coordinate comprehensive care. The Oral Surgeon will educate patients and caregivers on treatment options, postoperative care, and long-term oral health maintenance. This role includes supervising and working closely with clinical support staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care. This is a full or part-time, on-site role located in the Greater Chicago Area.QualificationsDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program.Active, unrestricted dental license in the state of Illinois (or eligibility to obtain one) and appropriate DEA registration.Demonstrated proficiency in common oral surgery procedures, including extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, and related surgical treatments.Strong diagnostic, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and team members, including explaining complex procedures in accessible terms.Commitment to working collaboratively in a multi-specialty practice environment and to supporting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Experience or strong interest in treating pediatric and family populations is preferred.Willingness to adhere to all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards, including infection control and OSHA guidelines.Board certification or eligibility in oral and maxillofacial surgery is highly desirable.
