As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities will include swiftly and accurately entering prescriptions into our Remedi SeniorCare Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Additionally, you'll communicate with customers over the phone, providing quick and courteous responses to their needs.Location: Charlotte, NCSalary: $18 - $20 per hour (dependent upon experience)Schedule: Four 10hr shifts plus every third weekend. Pharmacy is open from 8-8 M-F, 10-6 Sat & 12-3 Sun. We are growing and that means more opportunities Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of a pharmacist and in compliance with State law, Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians will be responsible for: Provide over the phone customers to doctors and nurses Efficient order entry and follow-up Troubleshooting prescription/patient data entry discrepancies Ensuring accurate and timely prescription/patient information input Collaborating with Order Entry lead ership to meet department goals Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders Must work with urgency and timeliness Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy required Skills & Abilities Order entry experience Strong computer skills Thorough understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge Math and analytical skills, with a focus on calculations Minimum of two (2) years working in a long-term care pharmacy preferred but not required Clarest is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
