Dr. Hala Alsayed Health Training Center is seeking a highly motivated Founding Faculty Member in Orthodontics to play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the Center’s orthodontic education portfolio. As a founding faculty member, you will contribute to the development of innovative academic and continuing professional development (CPD) programmes, mentor learners, and help shape one of Bahrain’s leading private healthcare education institutions. The role combines academic leadership, curriculum development, clinical teaching, and research engagement. Similar academic orthodontic faculty roles emphasize teaching, curriculum development, clinical supervision, assessment, quality assurance, and scholarly activity. Key Responsibilities* Serve as a founding member of the Orthodontics Faculty and contribute to the strategic growth of dental education programmes.* Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate, postgraduate, and CPD orthodontic courses.* Deliver lectures, seminars, workshops, case-based discussions, and hands-on clinical training.* Supervise learners in clinical and simulated learning environments.* Develop competency-based assessments, OSCEs, examinations, and practical evaluations.* Mentor and provide academic guidance to students and healthcare professionals.* Ensure all teaching aligns with evidence-based orthodontic practice and international educational standards.* Participate in curriculum review, programme validation, and accreditation activities.* Contribute to institutional quality assurance and continuous academic improvement.* Support research, publications, conference presentations, and scholarly activities.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty on educational and institutional initiatives.* Represent the Center at national and international academic and professional events.* Support the development of future postgraduate and specialist orthodontic programmes. These responsibilities are consistent with leading academic orthodontic faculty positions internationally.
