This is a great opportunity for someone who brings a strong combination of software development, systems analysis, and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) experience.Experience working in Oil & Gas operations is a major plus, particularly for candidates who understand the unique requirements of operational technology environments.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, enhance, and support software applications used within the operational environment
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
- Develop program logic for new applications and modify existing applications
- Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software solutions
- Perform systems analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and implementation
- Troubleshoot sophisticated application and system issues
- Work closely with technical and operational stakeholders to deliver reliable, efficient solutions
- Support the integration of application components within the existing technology environmentWhat We’re Looking For:
- 5–8 years of extensive experience with Python and/or C# and SQL
- Instrumentation & Controls experience is required
- Experience with PI control language for SCADA
- Strong systems analysis and application development experience
- Ability to work through complex technical problems and develop practical solutions
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general PC technologiesMajor Pluses:
- Operational experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience with Agentic AI coding and AI-assisted developmentEducation / Experience:Candidates must meet one of the following:
- High school diploma/GED with at least 12 years of IT experience
- Associate degree with at least 8 years of IT experience
