This is an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse leader to guide and develop nursing professionals, strengthen clinical services, and help ensure individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use services have access to compassionate, recovery-focused care.The ideal candidate is a nursing leader who brings strong supervisory experience, clinical knowledge, and a passion for developing people. The Outpatient Nursing Manager creates a positive, trauma-informed learning environment while partnering with program leadership and internal and external stakeholders to support quality care, accessibility, and positive outcomes.This role is a great opportunity for an RN who wants to combine clinical expertise, team leadership, staff development, and meaningful behavioral health work.ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical and administrative supervision for assigned nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs.Lead initiatives that promote an engaging, inclusive, positive, and trauma-informed work culture.Create and maintain a learning environment focused on the professional growth and development of nursing staff.Support staff in staying current with evidence-based nursing practices and effectively managing complex clinical situations.Collaborate with program managers, administration, clinical teams, and external partners to ensure services are high-quality, accessible, timely, and recovery-focused.Provide feedback and communicate updates to appropriate management and clinical staff.Partner with leadership to problem-solve, improve quality of care, and support program needs.Provide nursing support or coverage to other agency clinics as needed to meet staffing and service needs.Ensure clinical services are provided in accordance with ReDiscover policies and procedures, contractual requirements, and Missouri nursing standards.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited nursing program.Active Missouri Registered Nurse (RN) license or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role required.Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting required.Excellent customer service skills with a recovery-focused approach.Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and keyboarding.Ability to work a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (40-hour work week).Why Join ReDiscover?Make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.Lead and develop nursing professionals in a supportive, collaborative environment.Be part of a mission-driven organization with more than 50 years of behavioral health service.Join 700+ dedicated professionals committed to compassion, collaboration, inclusion, and growth.Help shape the future of behavioral health nursing through quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and staff development.Work in a culture that values respect, excellence, inclusion, compassion, optimism, and recovery.If you’re an experienced RN leader looking for an opportunity to use your clinical expertise while developing people and making a meaningful difference in behavioral health, we invite you to join ReDiscover.
