This role also supervises two Regional Outreach Specialists covering Western and Eastern Kentucky.You'll serve as a key point of contact for a multi-program health initiative, building relationships with health systems, community organizations, and local partners, while also coaching and supporting the coordinators in your region.Position DetailsCompensation: $35-36/hrLocation: In office in Frankfort, KY on Tuesday. Frequent regional and statewide travel required 2-3 days/week. Travel/mileage reimbursement provided.Ongoing contract with extension potential through 2030What You'll DoRepresent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and community events, including staffing and coordinating tabling opportunitiesBuild and grow relationships with partner organizations and pilot sites across your assigned regionServe as a knowledgeable point of contact across multiple program areas and initiativesConnect program leads with potential partners and pilot sites, and flag emerging regional needs and opportunitiesSupport content and communications efforts, including gathering community success stories and maintaining a regional events calendarMaintain accurate partner records in a CRM and report on outreach progress and partner growthSupervise and support two Regional Outreach Coordinators, including check-ins, performance feedback, and coordination of shared standardsServe as the primary point of escalation for regional outreach questionsQualifications RequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience3-5 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder relations, government affairs, or a related outreach functionValid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region and statewideStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferredFamiliarity with rural Kentucky communities and healthcare landscapeExperience with CRM platformsBackground in public health, healthcare administration, or nonprofit partnership developmentPrior supervisory experienceWhat Success Looks LikeConsistent, growing presence at relevant regional and statewide eventsMeasurable growth in active partner relationships over timeTimely, complete CRM follow-up after every event and visitPartners consistently report having current materials and a clear point of contactPersonal AttributesOutgoing, personable communicator who builds rapport quickly and represents the program with confidence across one-on-one visits, tabling events, and group settingsSelf-starter who proactively identifies opportunities and pushes toward goals with minimal oversightStrong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple partner relationships, events, and follow-up tasks across a wide region without things slipping
