Overseas Manager

Role Description This full-time Overseas Manager role at Y&H CARGO is an on-site position based in Delhi, NY. The Overseas Manager oversees international logistics operations, including coordination of shipments, documentation, and compliance with customs and trade regulations. Responsibilities include managing relationships with overseas partners and agents, monitoring shipment status, resolving delays or issues, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery. The role involves negotiating rates with carriers, preparing and reviewing contracts, and maintaining accurate records and reports for management. The Overseas Manager also collaborates with internal teams to improve processes, supports client communication regarding international shipments, and contributes to strategic planning for global expansion.Qualifications Strong knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding, and customs regulations, with experience managing cross-border shipments.Proficiency in shipment documentation, contract review, and trade compliance, including familiarity with Incoterms and export/import procedures.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with overseas partners, carriers, and clients, with effective stakeholder management skills.Solid organizational and analytical skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and comfort working with data and reports.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.Competence with logistics and ERP software, MS Office (especially Excel), and other digital tools used in supply chain management.Ability to work on-site in Delhi, NY, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing schedules and shipment requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; prior experience in international cargo or shipping is strongly preferred.
