Team members are expected to contribute to a culture of accountability, professionalism, and long-term sustainable growth.Role Description The Owner of Paragon Construction Zambia will oversee overall business strategy, operations, and financial performance in a full-time capacity. This hybrid role is based in Dubai, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements as business needs allow. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting corporate goals, managing budgets and cash flow, reviewing project pipelines, and approving key bids and contracts. The Owner will direct project managers and site teams, monitor timelines and quality standards, and ensure compliance with local regulations and safety requirements. The role also involves cultivating client and partner relationships, identifying new business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and making high-level decisions on staffing, vendor selection, and resource allocation. Regular performance reviews, risk assessments, and long-term planning are essential components of this position.Qualifications Proven leadership experience in construction, engineering, real estate development, or a closely related industry, ideally in an ownership, director, or senior management capacity.Strong business management capabilities, including strategic planning, budgeting, financial oversight, and familiarity with contracts, tenders, and procurement processes.Solid understanding of construction project management, including scheduling, resource planning, site coordination, quality control, and health and safety standards.Ability to build and maintain client, partner, and supplier relationships, with strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced environment.Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, using digital tools for remote collaboration, reporting, and oversight of teams and projects.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced business or management qualifications are an advantage.Experience working across different regions or markets, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks in Zambia and the UAE is beneficial.
