This track record offers team members exposure to complex, large-scale engineering and construction projects with regional impact.Role Description The Owner role at CHP is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, responsible for providing overall strategic direction and operational leadership for the company’s activities. The Owner oversees project portfolios in marine and civil works, including ports construction, dredging operations, and water treatment projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include setting business priorities, reviewing project performance, approving budgets and resource allocations, and guiding senior managers in engineering, construction, finance, and operations. The role also involves cultivating relationships with clients, governmental entities, and international partners, negotiating major contracts, and exploring new business opportunities in regional and international markets. The Owner is expected to foster a culture of safety, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement across all sites and projects.Qualifications Strong leadership, strategic planning, and executive decision-making skills, with the ability to guide complex, multi-site operations.Extensive experience in marine and civil engineering projects, including ports construction, dredging, and water/wastewater infrastructure.Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and contract negotiation for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.Knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks, environmental standards, and health and safety practices in the construction and marine sectors.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience working with governmental bodies and international partners.Track record in business development, market analysis, and identifying new investment and partnership opportunities.Bachelor’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Jeddah and regularly visit project locations as required.
