The Ministry also pursues strategic workforce goals to strengthen national participation in the education sector.Role Description The Owner role is a full-time remote position responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of key educational initiatives within the Ministry of Education – UAE. This role involves defining long-term vision and priorities, setting objectives, and aligning projects with national education strategies and quality standards. The Owner collaborates with senior stakeholders to guide policy implementation, monitor performance metrics, and ensure that programs support modern curricula, effective teacher training, and technology integration. Daily tasks include reviewing reports, approving plans, managing budgets at a strategic level, and guiding cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes. The role also requires regular virtual meetings with internal and external partners, proactive risk management, and continuous improvement of educational initiatives based on data and stakeholder feedback.Qualifications Strategic leadership and governance skills, including experience in setting vision, defining priorities, and overseeing complex programs.Expertise in education policy, curriculum development, and modern instructional methodologies, preferably within a public or governmental context.Strong background in organizational management, including budgeting, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.Proficiency in using digital tools and technology platforms to manage remote teams, review data, and coordinate initiatives.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultural and professional groups.Proven ability to lead large-scale change initiatives and drive continuous improvement based on evidence and educational best practices.Advanced degree in Education, Public Administration, Management, or a related field is highly beneficial.Experience in the Middle East education sector or familiarity with UAE educational priorities and regulations is an advantage.
