Role Description The Owner role at PBM-Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Owner is responsible for setting the overall business strategy, overseeing operations, and ensuring that fit-out projects for ceilings and partitions are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Daily tasks include managing senior leadership, monitoring financial performance, approving major contracts, and maintaining key relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients, including METALSCREEN and other strategic stakeholders. The role involves directing business development activities, evaluating new market opportunities in the U.A.E. and Middle East, and ensuring compliance with relevant construction, safety, and building regulations. The Owner also provides leadership in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting continuous improvement, and driving innovation in products and project execution.QualificationsProven experience in construction, fit-out contracting, or building materials, with strong knowledge of ceilings, partitions, and interior systems.Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including guiding senior teams, delegating responsibilities, and building a collaborative work environment.Strong business and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, contract negotiation, and profitability management.Experience in strategic planning, market development, and client relationship management within the U.A.E. or broader Middle East region.Familiarity with British and American standards, local building codes, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices in construction projects.Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to represent the company to clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.Track record of successfully delivering complex commercial, institutional, or high-rise projects and maintaining long-term client satisfaction.
