Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Antananarivo. The Owner oversees overall business operations, including setting strategic direction, managing budgets, and monitoring financial performance. This role involves supervising staff, establishing performance standards, and ensuring a productive, inclusive work environment. The Owner builds and maintains relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers, while identifying new market opportunities and driving business growth. Daily responsibilities also include making key operational decisions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and continuously improving processes and services.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in business ownership, entrepreneurship, or senior management, with proven ability to lead and grow an organization.Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial reports to support sound decision-making.Excellent leadership, people management, and conflict-resolution skills, with a commitment to fostering a respectful, non-discriminatory workplace.Advanced communication and negotiation abilities for interacting effectively with staff, customers, partners, and external stakeholders.Strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives, and adapt to changing market conditions.Solid understanding of local business regulations and compliance requirements in Antananarivo or willingness to learn them quickly.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also valued.Professional proficiency in relevant languages used in Antananarivo, and comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment.
