Role Description The Owner role at Signal Technology & Engineering Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The Owner will provide overall strategic direction, set business goals, and oversee financial performance, budgeting, and investment decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing key client relationships, supervising major projects, and ensuring that engineering and technical services meet quality and safety standards. The role involves leading and mentoring the leadership team, establishing operational policies, and coordinating with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. The Owner will also identify new business opportunities, guide marketing and business development activities, and ensure compliance with relevant local regulations and industry best practices.QualificationsDemonstrated experience in owning, founding, or leading an engineering, technology, or industrial business.Strong background in engineering, technical management, or related fields; a degree in engineering, business administration, or a relevant discipline is beneficial.Proven skills in strategic planning, financial oversight, budgeting, and resource allocation.Experience managing cross-functional teams, with the ability to mentor leaders and foster a collaborative work environment.Solid understanding of local market dynamics in Dhaka and familiarity with relevant regulatory and safety standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, including client and vendor relations.Track record of driving business growth, developing new markets or service lines, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.Ability to make informed decisions under pressure, manage risks, and adapt to changing business and technical requirements.
