Role Description The Owner at PROMART is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Lima, responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations and business performance. The Owner leads strategic planning, sets sales and profitability targets, and ensures effective merchandising, inventory management, and customer experience. This role includes supervising and developing staff, establishing operational standards, and monitoring compliance with safety, legal, and company policies. The Owner analyzes financial and operational reports, identifies improvement opportunities, and implements initiatives to optimize revenue, costs, and service quality. The position also involves building relationships with suppliers and partners, representing the business in the local community, and driving long-term growth.Qualifications Demonstrated experience in business ownership, general management, or senior leadership in retail or a related industry.Strong skills in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial analysis to manage profitability and growth.Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster an inclusive, respectful work environment.Experience in operations management, including inventory control, workflow optimization, and process improvement.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with staff, customers, suppliers, and external partners.Hands-on approach with the ability to make data-informed decisions and solve complex operational issues.Knowledge of local market dynamics in Lima and familiarity with retail regulations and compliance requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Comfort working on-site full time and being present during peak business hours, including weekends as needed.
