Role Description The Finance & Accounting Executive role is a part-time remote position responsible for supporting core financial operations for Publicis Commerce ZA. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reporting, and monitoring key financial metrics. The role also involves ensuring accurate treatment of Goods and Services Tax (GST), reconciling accounts, and supporting budget tracking and cost control. The Finance & Accounting Executive will collaborate with internal teams to provide timely financial insights, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and help improve financial processes and controls.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support accurate budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and interpret core financial documents.Candidates should possess knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and related compliance requirements.Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets, with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and meet deadlines.Good communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and experience in agency or commercial environments are advantageous.
