The team prides itself on delivering professional and compassionate care in a state-of-the-art environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site PACU TECH (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit Technician) role based in St. Petersburg, FL. The PACU TECH will assist with patient transport in the post-anesthesia care unit, including assisting with patient readiness for discharge, ambulation post procedure, providing comfort, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities also include preparing medical equipment, assisting nursing staff, and adhering to established safety protocols.QualificationsProficiency in patient care assistance.Ability to follow safety and infection control protocols in a medical setting.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly.Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical environment, particularly in post-anesthesia or similar settings, is preferred.
