This role is responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and furnishings, to maintain a high-quality appearance throughout the hotel. Daily tasks include surface preparation, mixing paints and finishes, applying coats with appropriate tools, polishing wood and other materials, and performing touch-ups in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The Painter Cum Polisher also inspects surfaces for wear or damage, carries out minor repairs, follows safety procedures, and coordinates with the maintenance and housekeeping teams to minimize disruption to guests. Accurate record-keeping of work performed, materials used, and adherence to brand standards is essential to ensure a consistently well-maintained environment.📋 Key Requirements:Location: Must be currently locally available in Saudi Arabia.Iqama: Valid and transferable Iqama (Immediate Transfer required).Availability: Immediate joiners / Available to join ASAP.QualificationsStrong practical skills in surface preparation, painting, varnishing, and polishing, including the use of brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and polishing tools.Experience with different paint types, stains, sealants, and finishing products, and understanding of proper application techniques and curing times.Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair methods for walls, woodwork, and fixtures, including patching, sanding, and minor carpentry adjustments.Ability to read and follow work orders, technical instructions, and safety guidelines, with attention to detail and quality control.Commitment to health and safety practices, including safe handling of materials, use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.Previous experience in hospitality, property maintenance, or a similar environment is preferred, especially in high-end or luxury settings.Good time management skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team, including flexible shifts when needed.Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages commonly spoken in Riyadh is an advantage.Relevant vocational training or certification in painting, polishing, or building maintenance is beneficial
