Daily tasks include menu development, ingredient selection, and supervising food preparation in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards. The role involves coordinating with kitchen staff, managing inventory, and controlling food costs while maintaining high service standards. The chef will collaborate with management to introduce seasonal and specialty menus that meet customer preferences and brand guidelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Benghazi.Qualifications Strong expertise in Pakistani cuisine, including traditional dishes, regional specialties, and contemporary variations.Proficiency in kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, plating, and portion control.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in professional kitchen environments.Experience in menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and basic inventory and cost management.Ability to lead and train kitchen staff, foster teamwork, and maintain a calm, organized work environment.Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with management and front-of-house teams.Previous experience as a chef or cook specializing in Pakistani cuisine in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.Culinary certification or formal training is preferred but equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
