Its portfolio spans restaurants, beach clubs, lounges and hotels, run through owned brands, management agreements, franchises and joint ventures.About the RoleRole purpose The Paralegal supports the General Counsel and a lean in-house legal team that advises the group across multiple jurisdictions. The role keeps the department organised: managing contract and corporate records, tracking deadlines and compliance, and coordinating with internal teams and external counsel so the lawyers can focus on advisory and transactional work.ResponsibilitiesContract managementRun the legal intake process: log contract review requests, check approvals are in place and track each matter to completionPrepare first drafts from approved templates (NDAs, service agreements, supplier contracts, letters) for lawyer reviewManage signature and execution, including e-signature, wet-ink originals, notarisation, attestation and legalisationMaintain the contract repository and key-date register (renewals, expiries, notice periods, break options)Corporate secretarial and entity complianceMaintain the group entity compliance tracker across the UAE, Spain, Italy, UK, Singapore, BVI, Jersey and other jurisdictionsTrack and flag statutory deadlines: financial statement filings, AGMs, licence and registration renewalsPrepare board and shareholder resolutions, minutes, powers of attorney and signing-authority recordsKeep statutory registers and corporate documents current and ready for due diligenceLicensing and regulatoryMaintain the venue licensing tracker (trade licences, alcohol licences, Ejari, establishment cards, civil defence certificates) with the PRO teamSupport trademark portfolio administration: filing deadlines, renewals and docketing with external IP counselDisputes and external counselMaintain the litigation and disputes log; track hearing dates, submissions and court deadlinesCompile evidence bundles and chronologies, and coordinate document requestsCoordinate with external law firms, track engagement letters and invoices against budgetDepartment operationsFiling, archiving and document management (physical and electronic)Follow up with internal stakeholders on outstanding documents, signatures and approvalsHandle translations and certified copies, and courier and registry logisticsSupport ad hoc legal research and due diligence exercises as directedQualifications & Required SkillsRequirements Bachelor's degree in Law, or a paralegal / legal studies qualification2–4 years' experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally in-house or at a law firm in the UAEFluent written and spoken EnglishWorking knowledge of UAE corporate and commercial processes (DED/DET, free zones, notary, attestation)Strong organisation and document management skills, with high attention to detailAdvanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable with e-signature and contract management platformsDiscretion in handling confidential and commercially sensitive informationPreferred SkillsPreferred skills and attributes Arabic, French, Spanish or Italian (a plus given the group's footprint)Experience in hospitality, F&B, real estate or a multi-entity groupExposure to corporate secretarial work across several jurisdictionsProactive: chases follow-ups without being asked and flags deadlines earlyAble to manage a high volume of parallel requests and prioritise under pressureTeam player who works well with operations, finance, HR and external counsel
