The individual in this role will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, maintaining case files, and assisting with legal research. Daily responsibilities include drafting correspondence and pleadings, managing calendars and deadlines, coordinating client communications, and handling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management. The role also involves liaising with courts and other agencies, scheduling meetings and hearings, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely. This position requires consistent on-site presence to collaborate with attorneys and provide responsive support to clients.QualificationsStrong foundation in law and understanding of legal procedures and terminology.Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal filings and correspondence.Effective communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, courts, and external parties.Experience providing administrative assistance in a legal setting, including calendar management, filing, and recordkeeping.Background working as a legal assistant or paralegal, supporting case management and legal workflows.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with legal practice management software, document management systems, and standard office applications.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information.Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience in a legal support role preferred.
