The role provides rapid assessment, stabilization, treatment, and safe transportation of patients while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and provide immediate emergency medical care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditionsPerform emergency interventions, including basic and advanced life support, airway management, and patient stabilization within the approved scope of practiceSafely transport and transfer patients while continuously monitoring their condition and providing appropriate careCollaborate with emergency physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective handover and continuity of patient careMaintain accurate patient documentation and comply with emergency care protocols, infection prevention standards, and hospital policiesQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services, Paramedicine, or a related fieldValid SCFHS professional classification and registrationValid BLS and ACLS certification; additional emergency care certifications are an advantage1-3 years of experience in emergency medical services, ambulance services, or a related healthcare environment
