Paramedic

The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre- hospital and inter-facility settings. Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING1. Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification2. Current and valid Healthcare Provider – BLS CPR card3. Current and valid AHA ACLS card4. Current and valid AHA PALS card 5. Valid Driver’s License6. CEVO certification – must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period7. Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred8.
