The paramedic will provide frontline emergency medical care, including rapid assessment, stabilisation, and treatment of patients at events, worksites, and remote locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring event and site safety, responding to medical incidents, coordinating with other healthcare and safety personnel, documenting patient care, and ensuring equipment and supplies are prepared and maintained. The paramedic may also contribute to risk assessments for events, and uphold all clinical and safety protocols in line with organisational and regulatory standards.QualificationsStrong emergency care capabilities, including pre-hospital assessment, advanced life support, and trauma management skills.Experience working in diverse environments such as public events, industrial sites, remote areas, and entertainment or motorsport settings.Ability to operate and maintain medical equipment, manage medical supplies, and complete accurate clinical documentation.Relevant paramedic or nursing qualification, current professional registration, and up-to-date CPR and first aid certifications.Excellent communication skills, sound judgment under pressure, and a commitment to non-discriminatory, patient-centered care.Willingness to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, and to travel within the Greater Melbourne Area as required.
