Apply & track with Apply EdgePART-TIME OPERATIONS MANAGER / EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTSTUDIO JYOwww.studiojyo.comABOUT STUDIO JYOSTUDIO JYO is a growing, high-end residential interior architecture and interior design studio creating thoughtful, refined, and highly detailed interiors.We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Part-Time Operations Manager / Executive Assistant to support the Principal and oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the studio.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment and is equally comfortable with executive support, office management, and administrative responsibilities.THE ROLEThe Operations Manager / Executive Assistant will work closely with the Principal and design team to keep the studio organized, efficient, and running smoothly.The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, discreet, and proactive, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and work independently.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESExecutive & Administrative SupportManage calendars, appointments, meetings, and schedulingCoordinate internal and external meetings and prepare materials as neededAssist with emails, correspondence, phone calls, and general communicationsPrepare documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and other administrative materialsProvide administrative and organizational support to the PrincipalHandle confidential business and personnel information with discretionAssist with business and occasional personal administrative tasks for the PrincipalOffice OperationsOversee daily office operations and maintain an organized, professional studio environmentManage office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, mail, packages, and deliveriesCoordinate with vendors, building management, IT, and service providersCoordinate office meetings, lunches, events, and team activitiesMaintain office templates, standards, and organizational systemsFinancial & HR AdministrationAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, receipts, and expensesAssist with payroll and timesheet administrationMaintain organized digital and physical recordsAssist with employee onboarding and offboardingMaintain employee files and administrative documentationAssist with benefits and other employee-related administrative mattersCoordinate with the bookkeeper, accountant, and outside consultants as neededStudio SupportAssist the design team with administrative and project-related coordinationCoordinate purchasing and general office ordersSupport the Principal and team with special projects and researchIdentify opportunities to improve office efficiency and organizationTake initiative and follow through on tasks with minimal supervisionQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience in executive assistance, office management, studio administration, or a related roleExcellent organizational and time-management skillsExceptional attention to detail and follow-throughStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProfessional, polished, and personable demeanorStrong discretion and ability to handle confidential informationProactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyComfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google WorkspaceStrong computer and administrative skillsExperience with bookkeeping, payroll, HR, or accounting systems is a plusExperience in an interior design, architecture, construction, real estate, or other creative professional environment is a plusTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou are highly dependable, exceptionally organized, and naturally proactive. You notice details, take ownership of your responsibilities, and follow through without needing constant direction.You are comfortable working closely with a busy Principal and small creative team, handling sensitive information, shifting between priorities, and solving problems independently. An interest in design, architecture, and creative businesses is a plus.SCHEDULE & COMPENSATIONPart-Time: Approximately 20–24 hours per weekSchedule will be determined based on studio needs and the candidate's availability.
