This role involves planning and delivering face to face lessons every weekend in Abu Dhabi (Saturdays and Sundays for 2 hours each, timing flexible) explaining key finance and investment concepts, guiding students through CFA curriculum topics, and reviewing practice questions and mock exams. The tutor will offer individualized feedback, clarify complex areas such as financial reporting and financial statements, and help learners develop effective study plans and exam strategies. The tutor will also maintain clear communication with learners, track progress, and adjust teaching methods to support diverse learning needs. This is a part-time, remote role that requires consistent availability during agreed-upon teaching hours.CFA Level 1 Topics AreasEthical and Professional Standards: Code of Ethics, Standards of Professional Conduct, and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).Quantitative Methods: Time value of money, probability, and basic regression.Economics: Microeconomics, macroeconomics, monetary/fiscal policy, and international trade.Financial Statement Analysis: Income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and IFRS/GAAP differences.Corporate Issuers: Corporate governance, capital budgeting, and working capital.Equity Investments: Market structure, market indices, and basic equity valuation.Fixed Income: Bond pricing, yield measures, interest rate risk, and credit analysis.Derivatives: Forwards, futures, options, and swaps basics.Alternative Investments: Private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and commodities.Portfolio Management: Portfolio planning, risk-return analysis, and behavioral biases.QualificationsStrong foundation in Finance, including knowledge of core CFA Level 1 topics and investment principles.Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and practically.Demonstrated Analytical Skills and competence in Financial Planning to guide learners through problem-solving and case-based questions.Ideally CFA Level 1 passed (CFA charterholder or higher levels completed preferred) or equivalent professional qualification in finance.Previous experience tutoring, teaching, or mentoring in finance, accounting, or related fields, ideally in an online environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex material for diverse learners.Strong organizational and time-management skills, including lesson planning and progress tracking in a remote setting.Comfort with digital tools, learning platforms, and virtual classroom technologies.Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and a supportive, professional approach to student engagement.Payment150AED -200AED per hour
