Part-Time Summer Camp Teacher – ExplorersOrganisation: VRAcademiStudent Age Group: 8–10 yearsEmployment Type: Part-timeRole OverviewVRAcademi is seeking an energetic and engaging part-time teacher to deliver hands-on summer camp sessions for our Explorers programme, designed for children aged 8–10.The teacher will guide students through creative, technology-based activities while ensuring that every session remains interactive, enjoyable and age-appropriate.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver structured sessions in coding and robotics, game development and XR, 3D design and printing, filmmaking and podcastingMentor students as they develop individual and group projectsExplain technical concepts in a simple and engaging mannerPrepare session materials, equipment and activitiesEncourage creativity, curiosity, teamwork and problem-solvingMonitor student participation, progress and behaviourMaintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environmentSupport students in completing and presenting their final projectsCoordinate with the programme and operations teams regarding schedules, materials and student requirementsFollow all safeguarding and child-safety proceduresCandidate RequirementsExperience teaching or mentoring children aged 8–10Practical knowledge of one or more relevant areas, including coding, robotics, game development, XR, 3D design, 3D printing, filmmaking or podcastingStrong communication and classroom-management skillsPatient, responsible, energetic and comfortable working with childrenAbility to deliver practical, project-based learning sessionsWillingness to learn and work across different technologiesAvailability during the VRAcademi summer camp schedulePreferred candidates: High-energy university students, recent graduates, educators or technology professionals with experience working with children.
