Partnership Manager, SingaporeCompany: Simple AI Pte LtdLocation: SingaporeReports to: COOType: Full timePackage: Base plus variable tied to partnership and revenue outcomes. CompetitiveAbout SimpleAIWe build AI agents that do accounting work. Our agents handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, fund administration and operational workflows for businesses and for the firms that serve them. We sell two ways. Directly to companies, and through accounting practices who put their client book on our platform. Why this role existsFour things, in order of importance.Grow the CPA firm partner portfolio. Work the target list of Singapore practices, get them to a decision, set them up on an Advisor account, and keep them moving as they migrate clients onto the platform.Run the pipeline into small and mid sized companies. Own your own deals end to end, from first conversation through trial to close.Keep partners active. Regular contact with each partner firm. Chase the client migrations that stall. Track how many of their clients are live and processing, not just how many are signed.Work the startup and founder channel. Millennial CFOs and finance leads at rising startups and scaleups buy differently. They move fast and expect to trial before they talk price. Reach them through founder networks, accelerators and venture backed communities. This is a hands on role. You will be building lists, making first contact, running demos and sitting with clients through onboarding. Strategy is set with the COO. Execution is yours. What you will doProspect and qualify. Build and work the target list of accounting and bookkeeping firms and companies. Qualify on entity count, transaction volume, current systems and appetite for change.Run demos and trials. Set up every trial on a screen share, on the client's own data, and stay with it through the checkpoints. A trial nobody uses is a lost deal.Support partner onboarding. Sit alongside the practice as they bring their first clients onto the platform. The first three clients decide whether a practice ever reaches thirty.Keep the pipeline honest. Every deal recorded and updated, with a next action and a date. Report weekly on what moved and what stalled.Feed the product. You will hear the objections and the gaps before anyone else. Bring them back with specifics.Who this is forThis role only works for someone with a real accounting background. The requirements below are not preferences.EssentialCPA or CA qualified. ISCA or CPA Australia.Trained and worked at a Big 4 or a credible mid tier firm, at senior associate level or above. You have run engagements and dealt with clients directly.Hands on with at least two of the systems finance teams actually run: SAP, Oracle Fusion, NetSuite, Xero and QuickBooks Online. You can talk about chart of accounts design and where each system falls over.Working knowledge of SFRS(I), IRAS filing cycles and GST obligations, since that is where the pain usually starts.Willing to carry a number. You do not need a sales title in your history, but you need to be comfortable being measured on outcomes.Very useful to haveEarly exposure to client facing commercial work: scoping, fee discussions, proposals.Experience implementing or supporting software inside an accounting firm.Experience delivering outsourced accounting work, whether in a shared service centre, a business process outsourcing arrangement or a firm's managed accounting practice. You know what it takes to close someone else's books. This is not the role for you if you want a purely technical accounting role, or you are a software salesperson with no accounting qualification. The role needs both, and at this level it also needs someone willing to do the legwork. To applySend a short note covering three things: the firms and systems you have worked with, one client engagement you ran and what it taught you, and why you want to move out of pure accounting work.
