Team members are encouraged to blend craftsmanship and innovation to consistently exceed client expectations.Role DescriptionThe Pastry Chef will work full-time on-site in the Riyadh Region, overseeing the preparation and baking of cakes, pastries, and desserts. Daily responsibilities include producing a variety of baked goods, decorating custom cakes, and ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.The role involves managing ingredient inventory, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, and monitoring production costs to maximize efficiency and profitability. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for controlling food costs, minimizing waste, optimizing ingredient usage, and supporting cost-effective purchasing decisions without compromising product quality.The Pastry Chef will also collaborate with the team to develop new recipes, refine existing products, and support timely order delivery for special events and regular production.QualificationsStrong bakery and baking skills, with experience producing cakes, pastries, and assorted desserts.Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques relevant to pastry and confectionery production.Well-developed culinary skills, including flavor pairing, recipe development, and product presentation.Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in a professional kitchen environment.Proven experience in food cost control, product costing, inventory management, and waste reduction strategies.Ability to analyze ingredient costs and improve operational efficiency while maintaining premium product quality.Attention to detail, creativity in dessert design, and ability to follow and improve standardized recipes.Experience working in a commercial bakery, pastry shop, or similar culinary setting is preferred.Ability to work on-site full-time in the Riyadh Region, including flexibility for peak business hours and busy seasons.Relevant culinary or pastry certification or diploma is an advantage.
