We are actively recruiting for a full-time Pathologists’ Assistant position for our newly acquired hospital, Valley Baptist Medical Center, in Harlingen, Texas. VBMC is part of our San Antonio division, which has 11 Pathologists, 8 FT Pathologists’ Assistants, and 2 FT Gross Techs. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, detail-oriented, and dependable full-time Pathologists’ Assistant to join our growing practice. We currently have an experienced gross tech who will assist with grossing simple specimen types. Our pathologists work remotely using a digital workflow. Our pathologists and PA’s serve as excellent mentors and remain readily available throughout the day for consultation, collaboration, frozen sections, and case discussion. Currently, VBMC has no weekend or holiday coverage and performs approximately 6,500 surgical cases per year. There are no autopsies or residents.
