You must have a proven record of handling sensitive, difficult conversations directly with patients and families, not just operational or administrative coordination behind the scenes. You should be comfortable managing complex, time-sensitive logistics across several external parties (clinics, pathology labs, sequencing partners, couriers) and have a track record of keeping every case moving with nothing dropped. Bonus points if you have a working understanding of oncology, a medical or nursing background, nurse navigator experience, familiarity with HIPAA, GCP, specimen chain of custody, or expanded-access and personalised or autologous therapy programmes, or experience building processes from scratch.What you'll doAct as the main point of contact for a group of patients, their families and their physicians through regular emails and video calls, guiding them from first enquiry and sign-up, through eligibility review, vaccine design, manufacturing and dosing, to follow-upTake ownership of each patient's journey and drive timely progress: collect tumour and medical data for eligibility screening, request records, handle consent paperwork, and keep every step on its pre-agreed timelineWork closely with the CSO, the CMO, the medical and scientific teams, and the Head of Clinical Partnerships. Answer non-clinical questions directly and escalate clinical or medical questions promptly through the escalation pathwayCoordinate sample collection and shipping with physicians, pathology labs and sequencing partners, and track each sample through to results and analysisLead sensitive conversations about risks, costs, staged billing and financial aid with compassion and discretion.
