In this pivotal role, you will serve as the human bridge between our multidisciplinary clinical teams and our patients—guiding them through the complexities of precision medicine, from initial genomic profiling to targeted therapies. What You Will DoPatient Advocacy & Support: Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact for families. Translate complex genomic and medical terminology into clear, accessible language.Care Coordination: Seamlessly guide patients through the KPCIRC ecosystem, scheduling multidisciplinary tumor board consultations, advanced imaging, and genomic testing.Psychosocial Counseling: Provide empathetic, short-term emotional support to help families process their diagnosis and navigate their personalized treatment plans.Barrier Resolution: Identify and resolve logistical, financial, or administrative roadblocks. Connect patients with financial aid, NGOs, and community resources.Patient Conversion & Administration: Follow up on leads generated by telecallers to educate and convert new patients. Assist teams with insurance pre-authorizations and TPA coordination.Clinical Trials Guidance: Educate eligible patients about groundbreaking oncology clinical trials and guide them through the informed consent and enrollment process.What You BringEducation: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Life Sciences, Psychology, or a related clinical field.Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in healthcare navigation, patient care coordination, medical social work, or counseling. (Experience in oncology, biotech, or precision medicine is highly preferred).Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication with a "patient-first" mindset.
