This role supports patient check-in, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and front desk operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.About the Opportunity:Shift: Day shiftSchedule: Monday through FridayHours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PMSetting: Ambulatory care centerResponsibilities:Answer telephones and greet patients in a professional, customer-focused mannerCheck in patients, confirm documentation, and enter registration details into electronic systemsVerify insurance coverage, process referrals and authorizations, and collect co-pays or balances dueSchedule and confirm appointments and diagnostic tests based on provider and patient availabilityMaintain accurate patient records, support patient flow, and coordinate with clinical and administrative staffQualifications:High school diploma or GEDAt least 1 year of clerical or service experience, preferably in a medical environmentExperience using an electronic medical record systemKnowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA guidelinesStrong customer service, communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishDesired Skills:Experience in a high-volume healthcare settingBilingual communication skills in Mandarin or CantoneseFamiliarity with registration, billing, and scheduling systemsProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic office systems
