Location: Onsite in Arden Hills, MN | Travel: Up to 25%We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized Patient Support Specialist to guide patients through the Altius therapy journey.

This role serves as a trusted point of contact for patients, providing education, helping patients understand their treatment options, identifying barriers, and partnering with patients, providers, and internal teams to support a seamless treatment experience.Key ResponsibilitiesEducate and support patients throughout the Altius therapy journey, including consultation, screening, implantation, and programming.Provide timely, compassionate, compliant, on-label education about chronic post-amputation pain, Altius therapy, and the treatment process.Identify and proactively address logistical, scheduling, informational, and other barriers to care.Coordinate patient needs, provider communication, scheduling, and appropriate support resources.Connect patients with peer, support-group, and community resources.Serve as a liaison among patients, providers, Territory Managers, Clinical Specialists, and internal teams.Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex cases and ensure effective handoffs.Document patient interactions, follow-up, and outcomes accurately in accordance with HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements.Track product feedback and complaints and coordinate appropriate follow-up.QualificationsRequired:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.2+ years of patient-facing, care coordination, clinical support, or medical device experience.Strong communication, active listening, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to build trust with patients navigating complex healthcare journeys.Ability to explain medical therapies and devices clearly to non-clinical audiences.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.Comfortable working onsite and using computer-based systems throughout the workday.Preferred:Experience with limb loss, chronic pain, rehabilitation, or amputee populations.Medical device or specialty-therapy experience.Clinical or allied-health credential.Experience with neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulation (SCS), peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS), or similar therapies.Work EnvironmentThis is an onsite role in Arden Hills, MN, with regular patient and team interaction.
