About Versatile InternationalVersatile International is the Middle East’s first fully integrated Stone Project Management Consultancy, with operations across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.Since 2020, we have established ourselves as a trusted specialist in natural stone project delivery, contributing to some of the Middle East’s most prestigious developments.As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Payroll & Billings Officer to join our Dubai-based Shared Services team.The OpportunityReporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of rapidly growing entities, with responsibility across Payroll, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, commercially minded and takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality and delivering work to tight deadlines.🔹 What you’ll be responsible forPayrollProcess fortnightly/monthly payroll and timesheets across multiple regionsMaintain accurate employee payroll recordsPrepare weekly payroll reports and payroll journalsReconcile payroll-related GL accountsManage payroll enquiries and mailboxSupport month-end and year-end payroll reporting and reconciliationsContribute to payroll projects and process improvementsAccounts ReceivableSet up clients and maintain debtor master filesPrepare and process sales invoices and sundry billingsApply receipts and monitor outstanding balancesFollow up on overdue accounts and support timely collectionsWork with internal teams and clients to resolve billing issuesAccounts PayableComplete supplier onboarding and invoice verificationProcess invoices and maintain accurate vendor recordsReconcile supplier statements and prepare aged payables reportsResolve supplier and invoice discrepanciesSupport internal controls and fraud prevention initiativesPrepare and process fortnightly and month-end payment runs About YouWe’re looking for someone with:Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably across a medium to large workforceStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and employment agreementsExperience with payroll reconciliations and resolving discrepanciesProficiency with payroll systems and HRIS platformsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsThe ability to handle confidential information with discretionA relevant accounting, finance or related qualification is desirableWhy Join Versatile International?Join a growing specialist consultancy at the forefront of natural stone project delivery across the Middle East, and play an important role in supporting our continued expansion.If you’re an experienced payroll and finance professional looking for your next opportunity in Dubai, we’d love to hear from you.
