An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Lead to take ownership of the monthly UK payroll for approximately 450 employees. This standalone Payroll Lead role offers the chance to manage a varied payroll function while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and payroll-related projects.Working closely with HR, Finance and the external payroll provider, the Payroll Lead will ensure payroll data is accurate, compliant and delivered within agreed deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the end-to-end monthly payroll processPreparing and validating payroll dataReviewing payroll outputs and reconciliationsEnsuring compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirementsManaging statutory payments, P11Ds and year-end processesSupporting pensions, benefits and company car administrationProducing payroll and labour cost reportsActing as the main point of contact for payroll queriesSupporting payroll process improvementsAbout YouThe successful Payroll Lead will have proven payroll experience, a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and experience working with payroll systems and external providers.
