Apply & track with Apply EdgePC System Specialist (IMO)Location: Fort Knox, KY Certifications: CompTIA Security+ requiredClearance: TSFedTec is seeking a skilled PC Systems Specialist to perform analytical, technical, and administrative work related to the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of personal computer systems. In this role, you will support moderately complex applications, collaborate with end users to identify requirements, and deliver tailored solutions through custom programming, off-the-shelf software adaptation, or hardware optimization. Join the U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC) Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan, design, and install new and existing personal computer systems.Consult with end users to assess hardware and software needs based on operational requirements.Develop custom programs or customize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software to meet specific needs.Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripheral devices, and associated system software.Administer and maintain telecommunications protocols as required.Provide troubleshooting, diagnostic support, and resolution for hardware and software issues.Train and support end users on computer systems, software, and hardware tools.Document system configurations, processes, and user instructions.Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and system access standards.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate Degree (AA) with 7+ years of relevant experience.Proven experience supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals in mid-to-large scale environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status required.When You Join FedTec, You Are Joining a Family!
