We aim to differentiate ourselves by consistently providing intelligent and cost-effective solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.Visit our SiteOiLSERV | World-Class Oilfield ServicesPosition Overview:PCE Specialist – Slick line OperationsEquipment (PCE) to ensure equipment reliability, operational readiness, and compliance with company and client requirements.TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION NEEDED:NDT LEVEL IIAPIQ1 Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PCE equipment used in SLS operations.Ensure PCE equipment is maintained according to OEM requirements, company procedures, and client specifications.Conduct and support SM2/SM3 inspections, pressure testing, function testing, and certification of PCE equipment.Review equipment condition, identify potential failures, and recommend corrective actions.Ensure PCE equipment is properly prepared and certified before mobilization to the field.Support troubleshooting of PCE-related failures during field operations when required.Identify critical PCE spare parts, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure spare parts availability to support equipment reliability and operational readiness.Review spare parts requirements based on equipment condition, maintenance history, OEM recommendations, and upcoming operational requirements.Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, suppliers, and Maintenance teams to ensure critical spare parts are available on time and avoid operational delays or NPT.Maintain and regularly review the PCE critical spare parts list, including lead times, minimum/maximum stock levels, and obsolete or hard-to-source components.Verify that all inspection and maintenance activities are properly documented in the CMMS.Review inspection reports, test certificates, maintenance records, and equipment history to ensure full traceability.Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, and HSE teams to maintain high equipment reliability and operational readiness.Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and client requirements, including proper tagging, certification, and identification of equipment.Provide technical guidance and coaching to mechanics and technicians working with PCE.Participate in failure investigations and root cause analysis related to PCE equipment.Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce NPT, and optimize maintenance and spare parts practices.Maintain awareness of applicable industry standards and best practices related to pressure control equipment.QualificationsDiploma / Technical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Pressure Control Equipment (PCE), preferably supporting Slickline / Well Intervention operations.Proven hands-on experience with inspection, maintenance, repair, pressure testing and certification of Slickline PCE.NDT Level II certification (PT/MT and/or UT as applicable).API Spec Q1 training / awareness; Internal Auditor certification would be an advantage.Good knowledge of applicable API standards, OEM requirements and pressure control equipment maintenance practices.IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control certification is highly desirable.OEM training/certification on Slickline PCE would be an advantage.Experience with SM2/SM3 inspection and certification requirements.Previous experience in Oil & Gas service companies / well intervention environments preferred.Valid HSE certifications such as H2S, First Aid, BOSIET/FOET or equivalent, where required by the operating environment.Technical & Functional SkillsStrong technical knowledge of Slickline Pressure Control Equipment, including lubricators, BOPs, stuffing boxes, tool traps, quick-test subs, wellhead connections and associated pressure-control components.Strong capability in PCE inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and pressure/function testing.Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings, maintenance procedures, inspection criteria and test certificates.Knowledge of equipment certification, tagging and traceability requirements.Strong understanding of failure mechanisms, equipment integrity and preventive/predictive maintenance.Experience conducting failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Good understanding of critical spare parts management, including min/max levels, lead times, reorder requirements and obsolete components.Ability to assess spare requirements based on equipment condition, maintenance history and operational forecast.Experience using CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo or equivalent.Good knowledge of inventory and maintenance planning.Strong awareness of QHSE requirements, pressure-testing safety and operational risk controls.Ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement, Stores and HSE.Strong reporting and documentation skills, with particular attention to equipment history and certification records.Ability to coach and technically guide mechanics and technicians.Strong problem-solving skills with focus on equipment reliability, operational readiness and NPT reduction.
