PCN-Level-II (PAUT/UT/TOFD)

Role Description This full-time, on-site PCN-Level-II (PAUT/UT/TOFD) role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The role involves performing advanced non-destructive testing using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), Conventional Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include job planning, interpreting procedures and drawings, setting up and calibrating equipment, conducting inspections on welds and materials, and accurately recording and evaluating test results. The PCN-Level-II professional will prepare clear inspection reports, communicate findings to project teams and clients, and support quality assurance by identifying non-conformities and recommending corrective actions. The role also includes maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and quality guidelines, and providing guidance to junior technicians as needed.QualificationsAdvanced NDT competencies: PCN Level II certification in PAUT, UT, and TOFD, with practical experience in weld and materials inspection in industrial environments.Technical and standards knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant international codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.Reporting and analytical skills: Proficiency in data evaluation, defect characterization, and preparation of accurate, concise inspection reports using digital tools and NDT software.Safety and quality focus: Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and adherence to company and client procedures in high-risk industrial settings.Experience and education: Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering or a related field, with several years of hands-on NDT inspection experience in oil & gas, power, or heavy industry.Communication and teamwork: Effective spoken and written communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface professionally with clients.Additional assets:
