Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Business Teacher

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta for a Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Business Teacher. The teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Business syllabus, ensuring content is accurate, current, and relevant. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson materials, teaching classes, setting and marking assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support student progress. The role involves monitoring student performance, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with learners, parents, and colleagues as needed. The teacher will also contribute to curriculum development, participate in departmental meetings and school events, and support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.QualificationsStrong foundation in Business, Accounting, and Economics, with the ability to teach Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Business content confidently and accurately.Demonstrated skills in lesson planning, including designing structured lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities aligned with international standards.Excellent communication skills, including clear classroom instruction, constructive feedback, and professional collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Economics, Education, or a related field; a teaching qualification or certification in international curricula is an advantage.Previous experience teaching IGCSE or similar international programs, preferably in Business subjects, and familiarity with Pearson Edexcel specifications.Ability to create an inclusive, motivating classroom environment and to support students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.Strong classroom management, organizational, and time-management skills, with proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools.
