The practice focuses on creating a supportive, welcoming environment where every child’s smile is valued and respected.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Dentist role based in Dyer, IN. The Pediatric Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventive services. Daily responsibilities include performing restorative and minor oral surgical procedures, administering local anesthesia, and managing dental emergencies in a calm, reassuring manner. The role involves educating patients and families on oral hygiene, collaborating with clinical staff to ensure high-quality care, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation. The Pediatric Dentist will also contribute to a positive, child-friendly practice culture aligned with the organization’s values of innovation, education, and kindness.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate general health considerations into dental treatment planning.Demonstrated expertise in Pediatric Dentistry, including behavior management, preventive care, and age-appropriate treatment approaches.Competence in Oral Surgery and related procedures appropriate to a pediatric setting, such as extractions and surgical interventions.Proficiency in comprehensive Dental Care, including diagnostics, restorative treatments, and ongoing patient follow-up.Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.Active state dental license (or eligibility for licensure in Indiana) and Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Dentistry preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with children and families from diverse backgrounds.Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuing education, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary care team.
