Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse

We’re Hiring: Pediatric Licensed Practical NurseCareSynq Home Healthcare is looking for a caring and experienced nurse to provide nursing support at a nursery for children aged 45 days to 5 years.Roles and Responsibilities* Monitor children’s health and identify signs of illness, injury or distress.* Provide first aid and respond to emergencies, including infant and child CPR, within professional training and nursery procedures.* Support safe infant care, including feeding, hygiene and safe sleep practices, in coordination with nursery staff.* Recognise and respond promptly to choking in infants and young children, providing age-appropriate choking first aid and CPR within professional training, and activating emergency medical services when required.* Administer prescribed medication according to documented instructions, required consent and nursery policies.* Maintain accurate health records, medication logs and incident reports.* Monitor allergies and individual care plans, and communicate relevant precautions to staff.* Follow infection prevention procedures and support appropriate management of unwell children.* Communicate health concerns promptly to parents and nursery management.* Guide staff on hand hygiene, infection prevention and child health and safety.* Maintain first-aid supplies and ensure emergency equipment is ready for use.* Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain children’s privacy and confidentiality.Candidate Requirements* Recognised nursing qualification.* Valid nursing licence or eligibility accepted by the relevant health authority for the nursery location.* Experience in nursery, paediatric or infant nursing preferred.* Current BLS certification; infant and child CPR training required.* Strong communication skills and a calm, patient and caring approach.* Ability to manage emergencies and work closely with teachers, caregivers and parents.
