Role SummaryProvide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents with disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The consultant will deliver specialized pediatric ENT services within a tertiary care setting and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary pediatric teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions, including airway disorders, hearing loss, recurrent infections, sleep-disordered breathing, congenital anomalies, and head and neck disorders.Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures, including adenotonsillectomy, airway surgery, ear surgery, endoscopic procedures, and management of congenital head and neck conditions.Assess and manage complex pediatric airway cases in collaboration with Pediatric Intensive Care, Pulmonology, and Anesthesia teams.Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and case discussions.Provide inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and on-call pediatric ENT services.Ensure compliance with clinical quality, patient safety, and evidence-based practice standards.Support education, training, and mentorship of medical staff, residents, and fellows.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities.Mandatory QualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent.Board Certification/Specialist Qualification in Otolaryngology (ENT).Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology (Mandatory).Eligible for DOH Abu Dhabi Consultant Licensure.Education, residency, fellowship, and board certification from Tier 1 Countries (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand).ExperienceMinimum 3 years post-board experience as a Consultant Pediatric Otolaryngologist.Experience in a tertiary pediatric hospital, children's hospital, or academic medical center.Demonstrated expertise in managing complex pediatric ENT and airway cases.PreferredExperience in a Pediatric Center of Excellence.Academic and teaching hospital experience.Research publications in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
