MedicAir’s headquarters are in Chertsey, Surrey, and the product is backed by a team of in-house mechanical and electrical engineers. Founded by medical professionals, the organization combines clinical insight with technical expertise, creating a collaborative environment for healthcare specialists interested in innovation and patient safety.Role Description The Consultant Physician will provide expert clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients, with a strong focus on conditions related to air quality and respiratory health where applicable. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, advising on best practices for indoor air safety in clinical settings, and educating patients and staff on preventive healthcare measures. The Consultant Physician may also support clinical input into product usage guidelines, participate in case discussions, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates.Qualifications Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of specialist training in a relevant field (e.g., Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Family Medicine), with current professional licensure or eligibility for licensure in the UAE.Proven clinical expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management, including experience with complex or chronic conditions and evidence-based practice.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, and for providing clear clinical guidance and education.Ability to work collaboratively with clinical, technical, and administrative colleagues, contributing to protocols and guidelines related to environmental health and patient safety.Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, quality improvement, and adherence to local regulatory and accreditation standards.Experience in respiratory medicine, occupational health, or environmental health is an advantage, as is familiarity with air purification technologies or infection control practices.
